The importance of Prayer goes without saying.  However, many Christians either forget to pray, or worse, they know that they should pray, but make excuses, and or won't prioritize spending time with God.  This makes for a very weak, faithless relationship with God, with many expecting God to jump through hoops and bend over backwards, but never petitioning God for what you need.

How can God help you if you never talk to him?  A prayer-less relationship with God  will result in an eventual falling away. Its important to make your requests known to God.
